Reflection Week 6, The Thinking Stick

The Thinking Stick is a website that helps people understand elements that are in education. Like technology, I examined the 5 GMAIL TIPS FOR TEACHERS, and it was about how to effectively run the Google’s App. especially GMAIL. This is useful for the reason that most schools are doing away with Microsoft Office because of expenses and using Google doc’s in the classroom. Since most people do not know how to use Google Doc’s like I used to not know, this was an easy way of learning the information.
The next article I examined was, Sometimes you need to Throw Out the Container with the Leftovers. This was about teachers who need to throw out and reexamine there lessons to help enhance the students learning is necessary. Teachers who want 1:1 laptops or iPads because everyone else has them and they do not necessarily know what they want to with them, those teachers need to rethink what there lesson’s are going to be about and find a way where they can incorporate laptops.
